Olinjär (pronounced “Oh-lin-yair”) is the Swedish translation for “Non-linear,” a concept that reflects how we view the tattoo world—not as a linear timeline of trends and styles but as an ever-expanding sphere encompassing its full spectrum.

Currently in Grants Pass, Oregon, Transitioning to Bellingham, Washington, we are more than just a tattoo studio. We tattoo, create art, write, and publish a trade journal dedicated to the tattoo community. Our goal is to provide industry insights, cultural highlights, and inspiration for tattoo artists and enthusiasts alike. While our work primarily serves tattooers and the tattooed, we welcome anyone who finds value in our efforts.

With nearly forty years of combined tattooing experience, we bring a deep love, appreciation, and respect for the craft that has shaped our lives. Our mission is to give back to the community that has given us so much—by perpetuating the art form, elevating awareness, and exploring the depth of what tattooing is, what it means, and what it offers to those involved.

At Olinjär, we celebrate the full spectrum of tattooing: the good, the bad, the ugly, the traditional, and the experimental. We aim to honor both the craft’s rich heritage and its bold future. Join us in this journey as we continue to explore, appreciate, and contribute to the ever-evolving world of tattooing.
